Getting to Hillsboro Parks & Recreation

The Challenge

Hillsboro Parks & Recreation (HPR) sought to strengthen their connection with Hillsboro’s Spanish-speaking community. While they had a strong presence among English-speaking residents and were deeply involved in preserving local nature and wildlife, they recognized the need to expand their outreach. To truly serve the entire community, HPR aimed to find effective, culturally relevant ways to communicate and engage with Spanish-speaking audiences.

The Solution

To foster meaningful online engagement with the Spanish-speaking community, Birdee Media developed original scripts and content entirely in Spanish, using compelling and culturally relevant copywriting. We ensured all of Hillsboro Parks & Recreation’s social media platforms featured Spanish captions and posts, creating a more inclusive digital presence. Additionally, we wrote and managed professionally produced Spanish-language radio ads to maximize reach and impact.
